\Lynn Russwurm is a collector of Country Music with a huge Canadian collection including thousands of 78s. He lives in Kitchener ON and is a founding member of the Barn Dance (http://www.thebarndance.ca). He has been active as a musician, songwriter (co-wrote with Hank Thompson a song, I Cast a Lonesome Shadow recorded by Martin Gore of Depeche Mode on his solo 2003 CD Counterfeit²), archivist, producer, band leader, Country Music historian and compilation compiler as well as a complete fan of the music. He has recently produced a number of CDs for The Barn Dance Historical Foundation in Wingham ON, as well as CDs by Graham Townsend, George Wade & His Cornhuskers, Al Cherney, and shortly, Earl Heywood. He was contacted by the British Archives of Country Music to compile the music for this CD from some of his cool 78s.

Tonight's program featured very little music - mostly talk - and produced an extremely successful fundraishing show for CIUT. 23 callers donated money to the radio station, raising over $1,100 which is friggin' amazing! Great work Sugar Campers. A rather large thank you to all who donated, and especially to my three guests who provided so much drive to make this edition of the Sugar Camp so successful.
